About Me

Hey y'all, I’m Ashley! A wedding and couples photographer based in Austin, Texas. What started as a hobby taking pictures of anything and everything has turned into a small business capturing the beauty of God’s creation and His people.

I am a stay-at-home mom and picked up my camera to start Southern Oak Photo Co. during my pregnancy with my daughter, Hadley, in 2021. Zachary, my husband, has always been very supportive of my passion for photography. He is former active duty and is now currently serving in the United States Army Reserves and also works as a corrections officer. He is also the best husband and father!

Some things I enjoy are, driving through the countryside, listening to music, and spending time with my husband and daughter. I'm a lover of all things Chinese food, animals, and Jesus. Of course, you can add photography to that list!
